Hi! I did cut out of materials according to directions but am at a loss as how to assemble; I am new to all of this but wanting to make mug rugs like yours. Could and would you do a picture tutorial to go with your written instructions. I thank you so much in advance. maybe that would help me even more. \

Thank you so much for this tutorial, but I am at a loss as to where everything goes. Cn you please help with pictures maybe? I just love the way this looks thanks in advance.

Okay -- here's some pics...I'm not finishing it totally, but hopefully it'll help. When you've finished up to the point on these pictures, you add the batting and the backing and follow instructions on page one.

This shows both the contrasts folded and sewn on one side.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]147958[/ATTACH]

Turn contrasts right side out and press
[ATTACH=CONFIG]147959[/ATTACH]

Lay contrast 1 on the 5 1/2 x 7' piece. Sew as shown with dotten lines.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]147960[/ATTACH]

Now add contrast 2 and sew as shown with dotted lines.
