I LOVE THIS!!! I crochet and quilt (and a few other crafts, too), and a project that fuses two of my favorite hobbies is "twice as nice"! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!

BTW.. I like your quilt and your tutorial better than the KF tutorial! =)

I love this quilt....love quilting and crocheting. tried to start one but cannot get the crochet hook through the fabric. Can someone help me please.

It looks like the edges are turned under in the photo where the first row of stitching is put on...

I believe the first row of stitching is done with needle and thread. Then you crochet off of those sts. Crochet hook doesn't ever pierce the fabric.
