I posted the bird pincushion I have made..no printed directions just the pattern pieces ..and several said it would make a good ornament..I have done many as ornaments years ago and found what I made up for directions for myself and am sharing them...sorry I do not have very good directions but I am sure most everyone can work this out

Thanks, bookmarking this. I have lots of silk, I am thinking these would look good all spruced up!

So glad you posted this.. I copied off the pin cushion one and was thinking what a cute ornament that would be.. or just some cute little birds for a DGD's bedroom.. She is going to LOVE them.. Now I don't have to figure out how to make it smaller! Thanks...

made any yet??

Judie 05-26-2010 02:56 PM

I made one..

of course it was the day before we left on a trip to the west coast.. So I had to rush.. but it is as cute as can be! Still needs a bit of finishing..

Why do I do that to myself?? when I'm supposed to be doing laundry and packing.. what am I doing? stuffing bits of stuff into a tiny bird ornament! but oh my, it is sweet! I'll finish it up now that I'm at home again. Then I can make some more!!
