My own Derwent Inktense color chart for 72 pencils

I noticed the color chart did not come up on post #42, so here is one I created which I advise you to do for yourself. I colored on fabric and then used aloe vera gel on half of the color to show the vibrance when gel is applied.

I have a silly question. Is the aloe vera gel mentioned here the kind you find near the hand lotion or pharmacy area in the store or is it specially packaged, processed, etc. for crafting use?

I found this info in the tutorial mentioned in the first post in this thread:

Clear aloe vera gel (NOT lotion) -
Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera 100% gel Pure No Color Added in the hand lotion aisle at Walmart (least
expensive I’’ve found at about $4 for 12 oz.)

Thank you so much!! I'm so eager to get started, just bought the 12-set of Inktense pencils, next the aloe vera. Thanks again.

I hope you enjoy this process. It can be very additive. If so, you will want the 72 pencil set. There is a great article in the Aug.-Sept. Quilting Arts Magazine by Ana Buzzalino called "From Sketch to Stitch to Color with Inktense Pencils." If you don't have access to this magazine, send me a private message and I can tell you more about it. Ana uses fabric medium as her moistening agent when she colors AFTER she quilts.
