You will make 25 blocks ( 9 star blocks and 16 stripe blocks) All are 10 inches which finish at 9 1/2 inches. Border is 4 inches From the ass't beige fab, cut a total of 20 - 1 1/2 wide strips wof and 36 - 3 3/8 inch squares (for 1/2 sq triangles) and36 - 3 inch squares (corners) From the 8 ass't blue fabrics, cut 9 - 5 1/2 inch squares and 36 - 3 3/8 inch squares From the red fabrics, cut 20 - 1 1/2 inch strips wof. From the red print cut 6 - 4 inch strips for the border. From the blue print, cut 6 - 2 1/4 inch strips for the binding. For the stripe blocks: sew together 10 of the 1 1/2 inch red and beige strips together alternating the colors. Make 4 of these sets and subcut them into 10 inch squares. You need to make 16 of these blocks. For the star block: The center is a 5 1/2 inch square, the corners are 3 inch squares, the points are 1/2 square triangles I squared mine up before sewing them together. Make 9 of these squares. Thank you so much for the tut !!!

Yes, absolutely !!! Since it was my first post and actually an easy quilt I feel overwhelmed with all the kind remarks. I love seeing everyone's quilts and projects and especially enjoy reading so many awesome tips from members that I am also happy to participate and share things even if they are not as grand and stellar as some members works of art. I love the fact that there is such a wide range of experience and talent and it comes from all over the world. I just love this board - you ladies and men rock.
