The amount of time you save by doing the front and back of the quilt together at the same time is FANTASTIC. Very nicely illustrated. Thanks for sharing. Love you quilt

I've only just found this tute, thank you so much Ditter! I want to try this - goodness know when though. Everytime I see something I like my list just keeps getting longer and longer.

Thank you so much for this. I figure that the basic instructions for sewing the blocks together can be used with other blocks. I have some animal blocks my DH wants in a quilt and was trying to figure out how I could make the quilt without having to quilt the whole thing at one time. This method is perfect. And I have boxes of scraps to use up which I could just do a crumb quilt and then join the blocks together. So many ways to use the basic concept. Also I have seen simalar tutes like this but never with such good instructions so it is easy to understand.

I like this idea. I had just sewed the strips to blocks and then finished it like regular quilt. This seems easier in steps anyways.

I love this. Wish I would of seen it earlier as I made my granddaughter strip scrapy quilts, but not QAUG way.
