I'm a little confused as to why the 2 1/2" x 5" goose would not be 3 3/8 x 6 1/4, rather than 3 5/8 x 6 3/4 if you are adding 7/8 and 1 1/4 for any size....am I reading something incorrectly?

What would be the sizes I would cut for a 2 1/2 x 4 1/2? This sounds like something that would really help me.

So if I wanted to make a 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" flying goose, the size for the small block would be 3 3/8" and the large block would be 5 3/4". Is that correct??? That's usually the size I have to make for my flying geese, for some reason.

I can't find the pictures of cutting a business card and making smaller geese at the same time, was I dreaming?

Question for you...I need to make Flying Geese and the measurements are 3" squares and the rectangle is 51/2". I tried the 3 7/8 X 6 3/4, but they are way too big for my project...care to assist?

McQuilter your 3" and 5 1/2" squares have seam allowance in them......... you need to work with finished size.

so use the finished size square of 2 1/2" and add the 7/8"
5" and add 1 1/4" your geese should come out to the size you need.
