Dogwood Quilter ~ Your examples are BEE-U-T-FUL! I particularly like the colors of the second one in post #42. Incentive to get in gear and make some of these, they will make perfect last minute gifts.

Thanks for posting your pictures!

Great job! Maybe we should make them at the 4th Monday quilt group. :)

This looks so easy and wonderful, to boot. Thanks so much for taking the time to teach us. If I get one done in future, I will share pics of how it turned out. I really appreciate this tutorial!

Wow they seem to be growing. Looks like there are three now. lol. I think I am gathering the pedals too tight? What do you think Judy?

SewFarBehind 04-26-2013 04:47 PM

These are so cute!

Dogwood Quilter 04-26-2013 07:20 PM

Thanks everyone. I have to pass on what my husband said. I was cutting the circles out and he wanted to know why I was ruining a perfectly good piece of fabric cutting circles out of it.

You might want to make it a bit smaller for a wrist using slightly smaller circles.

Very nice; detailed tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us! Personally I like the subtleness of the batik colors you chose...reminds me of a lovely water lily.
