Freezer Paper Tip

If you thought that freezer paper can only be used for full scale Paper Piecing (and I use it for that all the time) I have discovered an easy way to line up small pieces!

Cut a strip of paper the width of the next piece to add. Line it up to the seam, iron it on and sew right beside it! No need to mark and great if you have many of that one block to do. Can just peel the strip off and iron to the next piece! Also great for adding sashing or any long strips to each other.

It looks like it would really help with some of the Lori Holt blocks that have 20+ pieces in a 6.5 block.

What a nice tip. I use freezer paper all the time and now one more good idea. TFS

I've done that with 1/4 inch tape for strips. Works real well.
