What a clever inovative idea. Your tute is easy to understand as is your English. Thanks for sharing.

That's a great tip! I'll have to make one of those.
|
Great idea, thanks for sharing....I will definately be giving this one a try. :)
|
Oh, this is scary. I think you just started something, but a big thanks for this tip. I am from the old school of using it up before throwing it away. This just adds a few more hours usage out of the needles. Thanks.
|
I frequently sew using a treadle sewing machine. Some of the needles are very hard to find. This trick will extend the use of a great many needles!
Even if the needle is a wee bit shorter, extending it down a mm will solve 90% of any problem created. Thank you for sharing! |
0000 steel wool would do the trick, Wonder if it would work on pins???
|
WOW!!! Thanks so much. With funds getting smaller and smaller it sure will help save some $$$$$. Thanks for sharing

Next time I go into town I'm going to pick up the fine grade of steel wool. What a great tute, thank you so much.

El inglés son mejor que mi español – a pesar de que tenía granpartents español: gracias por el tutorial.
Lo utilizará como un cojín de pin para que nada se obtiene en la máquina. |
Thank you all for the great ideas! I was thinking that taking the needle out and using it in the steel wool would be best...I always have SOS Pads around...will give this a try!

I'm using this tool just for several years and I've never had any problem with my sewing machine, ever. But, to be more confident, I've called yesterday my local Bernina assistant and he assured me it wouldn't cause any damage to my machine.
