My husband wants to make a quilt frame for me to use with my own sewing machine. I don't know where to find the information. I have seen a site where a man had a pattern for sale and also where one made one on their own, but have had no luck locating them. any help would be appreciated. Thankyou Jan

I think it's on a utube video under either free motion quilting or something similar. I thought I had it bookmarked but didn't find it. Good luck!

Thank you all for this information. It is a help but still not the one I'm looking for. The tutorial is similar though and we might use it instead. Your help is greatly appreciated.Jan

Hi I think this is the site you are looking at, I am going to purchase a pattern as soon as my husband gets the garage cleared. A very good friend of mine is going to build it for me, he has just completed an extension to use with my sewing machine to support the quilt material.
Hope this helps Eileen www.buildaquiltingframe.weebly.com |
Why not try John Flynn's website? He has a frame that you can use with a domestic sewing machine.

Also try the old Alex Anderson sites, her father made one and shows how to do it.
