Here is one I made for my neice...she bakes beautiful cakes...so it was meant for her...she loved it...have made others for friends...love making them...I use ground walnut shells...I found saucers at Goodwill and candle holders at dollar store...[ATTACH=CONFIG]417933[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]417934[/ATTACH]

Your pincushion is so lovely. Your PDF is very professional looking. Two silly questions: do you leave the cardboard in and do you leave the CD in?

Thank you lots2do! Not silly at all...and yes you leave them both in. It helps you keep the circle shape when you pull the gathering tight and it keeps the bottom flat. But if you had a reason to want to take them out, that would be fine too, but probably harder to keep the circle perfect.
