As I figured one or the other would ask, I made a couple of pics on the way.
I couldnt come up with something that looks like cauliflower so I made little balls with selfadhesive bandage

I had to paint it with white fabriccolor as the pink was shining through and then placed it in the middle of a fabric circle big enough to cover a 4.5 inch styrofoam ball. then I stippled around the bandageballs until it looked cauliflowery....

I made a hole at the bottom to tuck the fabric in and cut a stem out of a foam cleaningtowel, covered it with green fabric and covered the hole

I made tree smaler and three wider leafs and attached them

You are sooooo clever! I would never have thought of using that bandage material...
First the hardware stores, then harbor freight, and now the drug stores... we quilters can find supplies ANYWHERE :D:D:D

Have you ever used the salt dough recipe? 30 years ago I used to make small trees with the plastic boxwood leaves and all hand shaped fruits made from salt dough, cloves for stems,and melted wax and crayons for color.

Wow! sooo creative. I agree with amma. i would never thought to look in the first aide section for quilting/crafting supplies. I applaud you.
