I like what you've done. love the pillows. I don't know how the freezer papaer works..why can't you just sew on the leaves?

Using the freezer paper (ironing), the fabric can be cut precisely the motifs.

I loved the way you cut up original fabric. Great idea to put all cut pieces on freezer paper to start. I will definitely try this. Thanks.

When ironing freezer paper, the wax melts and the paper is then stuck or glued with wax to the fabric. the nice thing is that the wax then cools, when it is pulled off it is reusable about 5 times.

I like your method of applique. Denim is a fun fabric for quilting.
