This is a great way of making the circles but I learned was wax paper on the back of the inner circle and this was about 10 at a quilt shop in Florida and I have severaI of the circles but I can't figure out how we did it. I'm losing my mind as I mad e a turtle quilt wall hanging and another larger one and they came out great. Willl call a friend in Florida and maybe she remembers We didn't use glue either and it went so fast. But if I cant I will try this one. Thank you.

Awesome, just what I was looking for for a large circle center for a Celtic creation.

Thanks for the tutorial as I'll be needing it within the next week or two. I'm making a new tablecloth using outdoor fabrics for my patio table on the back deck. Used my 9 degree ruler using 2 fabrics to make a round tablecloth. Want to embroider sunflowers on the circle piece.

I used this technique over 10 years ago and made a baby turtle quilt and recently wanted to make anoter quilt using this method but really forgot how I did it. Learned this in a class in Florida. Loved it.
