Square everything up.

Assemble the elongated flying geese sections. Sew short sides to opposite edges of block. Then add long sides. Trim and square....

How neat. A friend gave me a picture of her two little dogs and asked if I would make something different than just straight borders and now I have the answer. Your pattern. Thanks so much for sharing.
