Here are the pictures of the angels I made
I used app. 18" of Lace and Tulle layer them together and thread floral wire through them I used a 12" square of fabric, a1" styrofoam ball and I used a small piece of batting to soften the foam wrap fabric around ball and tie with string / embroidery thread ruffle the lace and tulle on the wire and wrap around the neck scrunch up the bottom of the tulle and the white fabric only and cut it off even with the lace make a double bow out of wired ribbon, and using the floral wire, tie the "wings" on final steps are to tie on the hanger with the same floral wire, I used fishing line but you can use ribbon also, once you have added your hanger you are now ready to cut off the excess floral wire Once you've done this cut a pipe cleaner and form it into a circle and hot glue to the back of the angels head for the halo the finished project |

The angle is so pretty. I would love to make them. Do they take very long once you get the hang of it. I need to make some ornaments for gifts this year. I usually make some every other year for my three son's and their family. This they would really enjoy. Great gift for my grandchiedlrens hope chest.
Thanks for your tutorial. |
it takes maybe 10 to 15, I cut everything at once and then put them together then it takes less than 5 minutes to put them together.
|
a white sheet would probably be a nice inexpensive way to get the white fabric and I just bought the different colored tulles in the 6" rolls, the lace I bought had place specifically to lace a ribbon, but probably any lace would work. the size of your angel would depend on the tulle and lace. If you go smaller, don't forget to make the HEAD of the angel smaller also.

Cute!

I'm in the state of WA and the WalMart I shop at has a great fabric dept. I have white material. I'm on my way! Thank you |
