Will have to try some. Great idea and wonderful gifts along with the bowl..... could take a dish to a party and leave the both the bowl and the microwave fabric bowl as a hostess gift.

Thanks again for sharing.

I have a smaller mic and the points caught as the turntable rotated, so I made it round and it works just fine. Thanks for a great idea.

Another great thing about these is: NO BINDING,thanks a million for the tuts and idea. Love this board. Can soneone direct me to the quick tablerunner that was on here a couple of days ago?

Seeing batting is so expensive was wondering if one couldn't use 100% flannel? I would think 2 or 3 pieces would be enough. Also wondering if one should use spary adhisive(sp) to hold layers together while quilting them?
Wondering mind has got to know -- lol

Sew clever and useful. I can see me making several of these. I get so frustrated trying to take a hot bowl out of the microwave with potholders and the mess that incurs. I usuallly use a hand towel. This will be so much better.

How cool....I love this...
I always put a hot pad or a folded up towel under my bowl.
And holiday prints...great idea!

You probably could use the flannel... and yes make sure it is layered for thickness and be sure to wash the flannel first for shrinkage. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to use the spray adehesive though.
