Bowl Batting
I was wondering what kind of batting is suitable for the micro?
|
Warm & Natural makes a 100% cottom batting specifically for the Microwave. Do NOT use the Warm & Natural batting that is generally used for quilting. It has a poly film in between the cotton layers that I never knew was there.

I'm gonna try it with wool batting. It should not have any problem w/ the microwave. I think that these will make wonderful Christmas presents! Thanks!

Awesome! This one is definitely getting bookmarked!

Seeing batting is so expensive was wondering if one couldn't use 100% flannel? I would think 2 or 3 pieces would be enough. Also wondering if one should use spary adhisive(sp) to hold layers together while quilting them?
Wondering mind has got to know -- lol |

This was a GREAT tutorial!! Thank you!! I made one yesterday. :) I took a leftover block that I had made then some plain fabric for the back. I love it!! Didn't realize until I got it all done that my block had one of the fabrics switched. BUT>>>>as my 14 year old son pointed out-that will just be the front Mom!! LOL! I'll share a picture. I just love it! The kids don't want me to give it away. LOL!
