I've never made anything with a curve as they intimidate me and I am very unsure about using a template to cut out piece-by-piece. Your plate is beautiful and I'm sure was very time-consuming, so I really admire what you have done.

Give it a try. It's really very easy. You might start with a regular plate first to get the hang of it then move up to the multi-pieced version. Good luck.
