My shoofly block tutorial
For those who followed my thread yesterday, here's my tutorial for the shoofly block.
Hope you enjoy it. It's easypeezy...like my name LOL. You don't have to work with triangles or bias edges which I absolutely try to avoid wherever possible. Please note that this tutorial will only work if you are using two fabrics for each block and in this particular variation. <fieldset class="postcontent"><legend>http://www.quiltingboard.com/images/misc/paperclip.png Attached Images</legend>

Trying again. Hope it works this time. I've reduced the PDF to a more manageable size.
For those who have received it by email you might want to download this file and delete the one I sent. Sorry about that. Would really appreciate if a moderator could edit my first post and move the PDF on top. Thanks in advance. |
Thanks EasyPeezy I am going to try this.

I'm pretty new at this, but it doesn't look like the shoefly block I know, looks more like an "O" block for X's & O block

Nice tute. Thanks for sharing.
