Thanks. Love great ideas that can use up some of my scraps.
Your quilt is lovely.

I feel like singing La De Dah ....just be glad you can't hear it, but I'm so happy to have the pattern! I hope to do a few blocks right away, but will be busy for a while after that.

Thank you so much, it was very nice of you to send the pattern along with all your notes! Have everything copied & ready to cut some fabric.

There's no way mine will match yours, but gives me something to shoot for. It's still one of the prettiest quilts I've ever seen.Your work is lovely, thanks again.

After seeing the quilt on the previous post, I was hoping you'd do this!!! Thanks so much! (and if you don't mind, I might try to duplicate the quilting on it too!) Loved it!

It is a lovely quilt and I have been looking for a pattern to use my batik scraps. Save them, even tiny ones.

I got kicked out for editing on my post...here's more tips! :D

*************************************************
When I connected each row, I think I just made them go all the same direction...since there's so many squares, there's really no "less bulky" side, kwim?
*************************************************

WHILE I WAS SEWING I kept the diagram handy. Especially when you're first sewing the middle to the sides...sometimes it's hard to remember which one was which!
*************************************************
I'm going to try and put down all the different fabrics I used, in case you have some in your stash! If you want to do a different color scheme, here's some tips:

RED .....or "pop" color.
TAN and BROWN...or DARK color
BLUE....a showstopper, large print MEDIUM
PURPLE....similar color to "blue" one MEDIUM
TEAL....lighter background with a pattern or floral (mine picked up teal)
YELLOW...or LIGHT. Reads as a solid.
FUSSYCUT...something that picks up on the floral.
GREENS...reads as a neutral (mine were batiks w/a subtle pattern)
ORANGE A...read almost-solid
Orange B...larger print floral (mine picked up red)

I auditioned about 30 fabrics and let them hang around awhile until one bugged me too much. Then I pulled it out. On and on, until I had a pleasing palette. You don't have to do that though...I was trying to build around fabrics that HAD TO be in there per someone's request.

Woo. It's gonna be difficult to figure out what these fabrics are.

Laura Gunn Tile Mosaic Teal
Laura Gunn Lantern Pod Teal (I think these are both out of print)
Dark Brown Bubbles and Blooms (looks solid)
Medium Brown = paisley batik bought @ HOP or something
Gold Arch and Red Arch are same colorway...bought on clearance, so I dunno if it's still out there...
Green Batik with a little gold...these are both the same "color" but the pattern is different.
Free Spirit Wesminster Pop Dots Teal
...and I think the other one is "Starburst" Teal (light bkgd)
The light background with red "floral" is the red that goes with the red Pop Dots.
Red (lower left) is Keri Beyer Tile Mosaic? There is a dusty blue also in this pattern.

Binding was yardage that went w/Laura Gunn that the customer provided. The dots would have been too strong otherwise, but it worked here. I also sewed leftover color strips at random because I didn't have enough of the dots to do the whole thing. Pretty creative, eh?

LOL, Plainpat! I didn't get in trouble...the time just ran out!

OK...I think that's about it...and if you have any questions...PLEASE ASK!

Some folks said I should charge for this puppy. I'm just happy folks love this layout as much as I do. If you feel the need, just tip me a FQ or something. :D :D :D

Please use, enjoy, make everyone you know a quilt with this diagram...if YOU SELL IT as your own, I will hunt you down and put moles in your yard. And no one wants that, right? I've easily put a hundred hours into figuring all this stuff out from beginning to end. Be nice and play fair, k? :D

Thank you for your generosity. I can't wait to get to this... :):)
