1- After the pieced heart is ready did you sew it on the cardstock or the plain or the decorative one? 2- If I want to print somethin on the card when would i do that? or is it better just to hand write inside the card? or maybe you even have a totally different idea !!!!!!! I was thinking to go to Michael's and see if they have some sort of very thin kind of transparent paper where i can print and then stick it to the inside!!!!!!!!! Hi Fatens, 1. I cut a window from my patterned paper and centered the heart block inside the window, then sewed around the paper window, catching the border of the heart block. 2. I don't think cardstock would print well in our printer. I have handwritten in my cards, but you could also print out your sweet nothings on another piece of paper and glue it inside the card. You can also buy 'sayings' on stickers, some that are transparent and some with a background - they would work too. Janie Faten |

Cut your strip to fit with a generous bit leftover to make sure you cover the space and have enough for seam allowance to sew the next strip to. On these tiny blocks I cut the seam allowance to 1/8" to reduce bulk, but on a larger block, I would use 1/4". |
