I did my first pair! I would use bigger lace the next time and I did make a change. I saved my zig zag top stitching to the last step. I thought it would anchor the lining well to the bottom and my stitching would be in the right distance from the leg edge.

How adorable thank you for sharing I'll be making my sisters these for Christmas and I'll be cheeky with the fabric (excuse the pun) LOL!

Stitching afterwards looks great. It makes the zig zag a bit more pronounced too. I like it. I have given a couple away already and everyone loves them. Everyone wanted one. Did you find them quick and easy to make? If you do craft shows, I think they would be good sellers. Don't you? They are going to be my little gift I give all the girls at work. Thanks again for sharing your panties. Love them. I can't type my cat is sitting on my keyboard.

The step by step pictures were easy to follow and it only took about an hour to sew them. They probably would sell well at craft shows but you probably couldn't get what they are worth. One pair panties uses 1/2 a fat quarter $2 + a zipper $1 + $1 misc. So $4 to make them plus your time.

what is the waist measurement? Did you enlarge the pattern? I pm'd you, but since then I found the pattern. Pattern appeared small, are they used as change purses or are they larger? Thanks for your help, Michele

My waist measurement where the zip is measures 5 inches but I traced the pattern from my iPad. My daughter is using this one for her personal products but you can use it for a change purse, gift card, lipstick, storing your computer sticks....I don't know what the measurement was on Debbie's pattern but maybe she will post it for you emt2004 .

My finished size at the top was 5-1/2". Although 1/2" wouldn't make much difference, still big enough for a little pouch. The pattern is a pdf and should print at 100%. So don't adjust the printer size. But again, you could also make larger if need be by enlarging the pattern on the printer.
