I tried to print the template or save it and could not do so in Wi ndows 7. I finally traced it from the computer screen and will make a block today.

I wonder why you couldn't print it. If you can open it I would think you can print it. Maybe someone on here has an answer so you can print it off. Did you save it to your computer? then try to print it?

When I send it to print, it blinks and then does nothing. If I look on the printer que there is nothing. This site is the only one that does it.

Send me your email address and I will see if I can find a way to send it so you can print it off. my email is [email protected]

I traced it off of the screen and have made a series of blocks. Will try to get pictures to send. Today is my day with the computer. (no meetings anywhere) So hope to be creative today.

I did a scan of the 9 pieces to make a quarter of a block and then printed 4 small copies and pasted them together to make a whole block. Pictures will follow. The colors are muted in the full block due because of making copies.

Do you have Adobe Reader? You need that to open. It's free to download, and it shouldn't cause any problems to your computer. Here is the addy:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html

Just download it and then you should be able to open the pdf's. You just click on the pdf after you download. Easy as pumkin pie.

I would like to make a whole quilt using this technique but I think it will take a long time.

But oh it would be worth it, and you could always make the blocks a little larger. But the 12 1/2" blocks make a nice size.

gmcsewer 05-20-2011 01:53 PM

Rhonda, is there any pictures of a whole quilt using your wing blocks? I have been searching but haven't found one.

Rhonda 05-20-2011 03:50 PM

There are in the ebook but not on the board. I am also working on a new book and there will be some in it. I have several designed and I am working on doing some patterns that I can sell one quilt pattern at a time instead of all in the ebooks. The patterns will be coming soon. I will post them on my Patchwork by Rhonda website when I get them done and ready to sell.
