Rounded Corners With Rounded Borders
1 Attachment(s)
I made a Red and White Log Cabin Quilt that I intend to use as a spread for my bed. I've posted pictures here in the Pictures section. Since I posted those pictures, I've had requests from several fellow-quilters as to how the rounded corners with rounded borders was done. The tutorial attached explains how, together with photos as the process is completed. I'm still a newbie, this being only my second pieced-block quilt. The tutorial is attached as a pdf file, which also includes photos of the Red and White Log Cabin Quilt.

Thanks Jeanette, this could be done on any size quilt.

thanks so much for taking the time to do this tutorial. i would never have thought of doing it this way

Smart idea. I do have one question though. How do you quilt. Loading onto long arm/ quilt frame or hand quilt with hoop?
|
My quilting is either done on my Singer 201, or by hand. I can imagine it would present some obstacles, but not overwhelming obstacles to using a long arm.

Great instructions - thank you so much!

I use to round all the corners on bed quilts. I do like how the round corners look on the bed. Now I just miter the corners as I make smaller quilts.
