Great tutorial Jan...thank you for sharing. This one is a keeper.

Thanks, Jan. I'm working on a quilt now that is set on point.
Thanks Jan! I love doing “on point” quilts. I am working on Pam Buda’s 1800 quilt now.
Thanks so much
Thank you Jan! I am embroidering blocks now that will be placed on point. I always seem to mess that up. Your diagram and tutorial is perfect.
Thanks for the helpful tutorial.

Thanks for sharing this Jan!

Clear and concise! Thanks!

Thanks for this tutorial---I have some blocks that I wanted to set on point and this will sure help.

Thanks very much for this tutorial. I wish I had had this tutorial when I did my first on-point quilt...what a nightmare that was. With your great tutorial, I feel any future on-point quilts will go much more smoothly. Thanks again.

Thank you!

Your instructions and diagrams are always, shall we say, "on point." (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
I think I might be setting my current quilt on point. It'd be a first for me, and I needed a really clear tutorial like this to give me confidence to try, Thanks so much. |
Thank you so much for this tutorial, Jan.

Thanks so much Jan. I think putting blocks on point makes them ten times more elegant!
Thanks, Jan! I will be keeping this tutorial.
This is great! Thank you. One question though. Is there a way to save this?
Good info on corner squares. Thanks Jan!
I know you have lots of 'thank you's' but I'm adding one more! This really helps. Thanks again! (Like osewme, I'm copying and pasting to save so I'll have it handy!)

Thank you so much for this !
Thanks so much, Jan. It's nice to see the measurements and the reason why we cut four side triangles from a square and just two corner triangles from different size squares.
Great tutorial! I copied and saved this for future references. I am sure to use this as a teaching aide along the way. I have done a number of quilts on point and this describes the process to a tee. Thanks again.
Another "Thank you" for your wonderful tutorial! As said already, it's helpful to understand the reason and math behind the measurement/cuts. So very helpful and greatly appreciated!

I am setting my current quilt on point, and I couldn't remember for the life of me how to cut the setting triangles. I'm so grateful for you Jan and the "search" function to find this tutorial again! :)
