Thank you so much for posting this! I am going to try this on my set-up! :)

That's a great tip! Thanks...
This place is amazing... I learn something new every day. |
Eddie - that's just ingenious!
Thanks for sharing :) |
Great Idea!!! I've just got my HQ Avanta and I could use all the inside tips I can get. LOL.. nothing like doing something new and getting frustrated by something that can be fixed simply.
Thanks for sharing |
What a great idea, thank-you so much!

Great idea. I am tired of the pinning, too
|
Thanks for the great idea. I've been having a problem in that area too.

I bought the Featherlight Side Clamps from www.quiltshop.us a few years ago and they are wonderful if you only clamp the backing as I do. They are light weight and about 9 inches long with elastic and velcro that attaches them to the frame. They do a great job. I think now they come in a 14 inch size also.

Thanks for the tip, Eddie. Someone else had said something about wooden rulers, but I like the flatness of the paint sticks!
|
Thank you for taking the time to take pics and showing us such a great idea!

What a fantastic idea. Thank you for sharing!

Terrific. I just knew there was a better way and I was looking for Sharon's tutorial--but I love yours... the paint sticks are in the basement with Miss Millie, and I'm about to do this! So helpful, Jane

Oh I think I'm going to try that!! Thank you!
This past weekend at our show I test-drove a Nolting, and noticed that their 6" clamps had some sandpaper-like product in the jaws that gently held the quilt very nicely. Perhaps this info may be useful to someone? |
