Could anyboby tell me how to use my steam-a-seam? For the life of me I can't seem to remember how. I have already traced my flower but it is probably on the wrong side.

Generally for Steam-a-Seam 2 (the double sided product):

-Attach SAS2 to the fabric --just tap it a few times with the iron. Leave paper on.
-Trace the design on the paper side,
-Cut out shape.
-Remove paper,
-Position where you want on background fabric.
-When you're certain you like the positioning, press it with the iron for a permanent bond.

The first and second steps can be interchangeable.

Or are you using the one with fusible on only one side.

there is a peice like parchment and the other peice if you feel it is textured, its the textured you want to use the sticky side is what you put down on your fabric thats right side down. iron and cut
good luck

SAS2 has paper on both sides. Trace the image on the paper that stays attached to the fusible.

Here is a site that may help you. There are different versions of SAS with different directions. http://www.warmcompany.com/saspage.html

My experience with SAS is that you can force the fusible web to the side that you have traced on by pealing the paper layers apart at a corner and finger pressing the fusible to the drawn paper side before removing the paper from the other side. This seems to be one of those challenges which sas presents, but the product is so worth the effort, especially on napped fabrics like flannel or wool :o)

If you can check, or remember the color of the package, I will get the directions off the package. I have the one you describe. Package would have been purple, or red. PM if you want me to.
