How in the world did I miss this fabulous tutorial when you first put it up? Today I couldn't bring up the board, so I had to find another way to get in, and just happened to come to the Tutorials page, and that's how I found it. Rhonda, babe, you've done it again! No problem I get called Wanda or Robin or all sorts of things. My mom worked as a secretary in the Principal's office when I was in High School. the Principal could never remember my name so he called me Susy. LOL

Rhonda - you are such an inspiration! how do you come up with all these great ideas?

Rhonda 01-06-2013 08:17 PM

thanks Ifstamper. It's stuff I came up with when I use to sell to a local gift shop. I had lots of opportunity to explore ideas while making lots of hotpads and other small gift items.

I've gotten alot of inspiration from quilt shows like Simply Quilts

This is great. Thanks so much for taking the time to provide all the examples. I love making strip sets because I find them very freeing ... things don't have to match! Have to make some new potholders and hot pads for my church. Think I will try some of these!

Hi, so glad I saw your blog. I am a brand new member and am new to quilting. AS I cannot seem to be accurate enough with both my cutting out and sewing, your strips give me hope. Keep your fingers crossed Moss

It takes practice Moss as in anything we do. the more you do it the better you get. Just take the time to be as accurate as you can and you will improve.
