Summer Star Block Tutorial
 

This is one of the best tutes I have ever seen. I wish all pattern designers wrote their patterns with your detailed view of how to make the blocks and put them together.

My methods don't always tend to be fabric conscious LOL , as I tend to do alot more trimming than most patterns call for. I have yet to be able to follow a " standard " pattern without screwing it up, because they give very precise measurements, and well, my seams aren't LOL. I just figure there may be more quilters out there like me who appreciate having lots of wiggle room LOL !

This is a picture of the quilt I made using this block ! Its not the best picture, I am waiting for a nice day outside to take better ones !

I use a mix of Photoshop for graphics and Libre Office for layout and text !
