both post just fine. See if the pics stay up.

I didn't know there was a limit on pictures....just shows a attachment and then invalid entry...like the bag

ssnare 09-25-2012 07:20 AM

I could not open any of the attachments. They all say invalid attachments.

miriam 09-25-2012 09:16 AM

When I was putting it together, it was going along great - pics were coming up just fine. Then it came up with too many pictures so I started and new post, part 2. I got along ok on part two then all of a sudden it magically merged part one with part two. Then none of the pictures worked. I spend an hour and a half just loading pics and typing - Something isn't right and it isn't my pictures. I have posted the SAME pictures in other places and they work fine.

Here is a pic of the large Mondo bag. Looks the same to me.

This mando bag has a different shape at the bottom but is a nice bag - the patch bag I did has square corners and comes out a lot wider at the bottom.

For some reason, when I try to open your attachments, it says the attachment is invalid.

Miriam,
I can't believe that you spent soooo much time, only to have the QB mess up on your photos. Thank you so much for your efforts; I really do appreciate the time and effort involved and the frustration level that you had to have had. I think that I might have blown a fuse if I had been in your shoes. In order to "get it", I took your photos...the ones that came through unscathed, and your narrative, piece by piece and pasted them into a word document. Having the first and last photos on the same page allowed me to get a better idea of what you had done. A couple things still confused me and then after re-reading it all again, your words finally struck me when you said to sew it like a child's block. I still haven't figured out the last step in the lining unless you top stitch it closed but then it wouldn't hurt to top stitch all around the upper edge, I guess. It may be a while until I get around to giving it a try but I will do it soon as I get my Christmas stuff done. Again, THANK YOU!!!

Yes, I stitched the last lining seam from the top - I just folded the raw edges in and then sewed on top - you could sew that by hand if you prefer - it would be nicer but I'm lazy... It took about 3 hours to put together. Top stitching all the way around would be a good idea and maybe some kind of iron on stiffener would be good in there - might give it a bit of shape - I used some drapery weight material for mine - it was some stuff I had around. I'm glad you were able to print it out. I left out some words because there were pictures and that should be worth a thousand words... LOL

Here is how it should be laid out: I wonder if there is a picture limit for each page on here - this is the same one that wouldn't show earlier.

I LOVE your Spartan!! My dad happened across one and they are gorgeous!!

miriam 09-28-2012 12:41 AM

This Spartan is very pretty but I think she needs a new box to sit in. I gave one to my DGDs - they all did a happy dance - they think it is way cute. I put a finger guard on theirs so they don't get inoculated by a sewing machine.

For me it was 3 hours sewing and shooting the pics and an hour and a half trying to post - the program accepted the pics initially then somehow over loaded - I tired to start a part 2 post but it some how magically merged with post one, then all the pics crashed. Go figure.

Please let us know where the pictures show up, so we can go view them. Thanks for the tutorial!

For some reason I can't open the attachments. Maybe it's just me. Anyone having the same problems?

Michellesews 11-24-2012 07:09 AM

I think you did great, and thanks for your effort. The final picture tells it all. It would help to know what we are creating at the beginning of the tute, but you did a great job of explaining and I applaud you! Thanks!
