Always good when we can get a head start on our next project.

Thanks for the tip...I buy scraps, frequently just offcuts of other quilters projects. I have a pile of these and a couple of larger pieces with an Asian theme...planning on putting together a table runner.

I knew it seemed like such a simple idea that I could not have been the original one to think this up...but glad to share anyway...maybe someone out there had not tried this before
and will benefit!

These kind of tips are always good for us beginners. I follow this board ever day to learn. Thank you

I TOO HATE TO WASTE FABRIC. I'VE BEEN USING LOTS OF BITS AND PIECES TO MAKE LINUS QUILTS LATELY. I SAVE NEARLY ALL MY HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES TO USE IN MANY WAYS. GREAT TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN YOUR QUILTS PROJECTS. THANKS!

great idea! I wish I had seen it before I did my snowball quilt. Now I am thinking of using my triangles in some fabric post cards.

I have a shoebox of them left over from about 300 flying geese. Great idea!
