I have made both of these, but everyone seems to like the triangles better. I also catch the center with embroidery threads or very small flat buttons. Add that little extra touch. Great gifts and they pair really well with coordinating fabrics and the project of the month (fabric bowl). Everyone loves them!

I've made probably 50 or so of these (straight) this fall. Beyond easy. I'll have to do a few of the triangle ones, too. But I don't sew around the edge, just press good.
