I can't thank you enough for posting these instructions. Would you like a good laugh?? Well, I always wondered why anyone would sew these strips together because of the seam allowance. I thought you would put right sides together and sew, just like you would do regular piecing!! NOW I see how its done and definitely will save these strips and do something with them!! I love the look and have always wanted to try. Thanks again, so much.

I thought the same thing and wondered why anyone would bother. It's nice to see how it's really done.

I'm not normally a big fan of the selvage projects, but I do like this small amount for applique. Great idea! Thank you.
