Thanks so much for sharing your lovely ideas! I just pulled out my UFO that's been sitting for awhile waiting for inspiration. Now maybe I will actually finish it!

I've mae 3 one block wonders and have used template 1 - stitch in the ditch - for all of them -- it does not detract from the fabulous block placement.

Your patterns are great. I've made one Karen Combs hexi quilt, and had the same quandry about quilting. I started looking at stencils and found a couple that were 6 pointed rather than 4 or 8 pointed, so I bought them both. Now they sit with the quilt top waiting to be used. Someday . . . . .
