For those who have made the BowTucks bag, - Think the inner pockets... For those who have not use the width of the bag for your Width of Fabric for the pockets, and double it for the height. So on this bag, use a 16"x22" piece of fabric (or whatever size you think will fit the bag). Fold it in half and press. Line the raw edges up with the bottomand sides of the bag. Sew it to the sides of the bag front or back (you can do it on both sides to add more pockets) after you have done your quilting and sew either 2 or 3 seams from the top of your pockets to the bottom of the bag and pockets.
Finish your bag as described by this tutorial.

Happy quilting!
Susan
This sounds lilke a good idea, but I don't really follow it very well. I'm a visual learner, so I'll either draw it out or actually cut a piece and work with it.

Betty, Thanks so much for the wonderful tut! You did great. Glad you joined the tut crowd. I am sure this will be a popular one. I know how busy everyione is during summer so we all appreciate your efforts. :-)

it is unforunately part of today's society, but there is a lot of theft that occurs at nursing or assisted living locations. A big easy to use zipper or velcro close would add security for personal items.

Betty,
Thank you so much. This is a wonderful idea that my group can make for the vets home. Your instructions are great.

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and the great suggestions. It was an adventure for me and to know that my efforts will help folks make the caddy makes me very very happy.
