Default Creative ideas to hold my earring collection please?

My collection of earrings has grown. I would like a nice idea for hanging/displaying them so I don't have to rummage through them to make a choice for the day. Just wondered if anyone has any ideas that would be creative, simple and easy? Looking forward to your input. Can involve quilting or not... just not plastic!

You could get some wire cloth at the hardware store ( not screening but not chicken wire0. Attach it to a large frame. I'd attached it to the front and wrap it to the back. Then in the frame put something you pieced. It wouldn't have to be quilted. You need space between the wire and the fabric. Then you can hang your earrings on the wire.

I was thinking of small squares on a wall hanging with pockets of netting of some sort. no plastic. maybe tule fabric would be better. something they wouldn't catch on but could be seen through. good luck.

I saw a hint that used a piece of lace mounted on black cloth in a frame. The frame was put on the wall and the earring wires were put into the lace holes.

i have one for this ---take a piece of that clear vinyl make strips 3'' x 24'' ......sew it to a larger piece of fabric ..[i made 5 and used a 24'' heave fabric uph] 2'' down then in the bottom inch punch a few holes ....hang hook earrings and you have pockets for the posts ....and it hangs on the back of the closet door [i saw one that hung on a hanger at a bells outlet some time ago

What I did was easy, I just took the lid off of a 18 pack of eggs and put the cups in the drawer. Sorted my ear rings in this. I love it. Not pretty or fancy, but practical.

I put screen wire ( vinyl wire) in a picture frame and hang my ear rings on it works great.

This sounds really neat. I use a rack I got at JoAnn's in their jewelry making section.
