My search for Bazooplas and ABC Pals fabric has resulted in alot of fabric. :-P
Today my plans are to put the Bazooplas panel together and start quilting on it.
I'm thinking stippling, but am open to suggestion.
Waiting to cut into the ABC PAls .
I think I've purchased more than I need of the block fabric. We'll see.
I do think half of the fun of quilting is buying the fabric.

Quilt as desired can be the three scariest words in the quilt pattern!! I usually look at the quilt for a while and let it tell me how to quilt it. Sometimes, i just start quilting and the designs come while working on it. If I am not sure, I SID to begin with and then add "fill in" patterns. It all looks good in the end.

I hate those words. I want some guidance. I just have to wait til the quilt talks to me to decide.

Can you add extra batting and outline quilt the animals and then do smaller stippling around them to make them pop out?

Free motioning around the animals would be cute. When I have "characters" on the quilt, I try not to run over their faces. The quilting also depends on what you will ultimately use it for. Wall hangings don't need as much quilting, but if you want to add a lot, the extra stiffness a lot of quilting gives it won't be an issue. If the baby will using it to cover up or snugle with, don't over-quilt it. Outlining the animals and some loose stippling will be fine.
