Default Another from the scrap pile.....

So im still going thru my scraps.. and i found more orphaned blocks... Apparently I had tossed them in the closet. Im guessing it was easier to make new ones for the original quilt ( back in 2009) than it was to rip and re-do... Soo i decided to make use them- oopsies and all... I didnt care that the blocks were wrong to begin with- OMG sooo many oopsies in there but i wanted to use up all the leftover blocks and cut fabric that was taking up space and just clutttering the joint.. and Yes these fabrics are sooooooo dated- but i dont care.. it may be ugly but on a cold day no one will care when they are snuggled under it all toasty warm..

blocks and leftover pieces..

Ta-Da.! wonky blocks, mis-shaped blocks, uneven cute.. you name it- ita all in there..
....

Very 'dated' fabrics but now a useable quilt on chilly nights..

thanks for taking the time to look ...

What a nice quilt. That will be cherished by someone! Don't you just love putting those scraps together and coming out with a beautiful quilt.

Win, win, win. This is one of those quilts that is hard to believe it came from such humble origins. Looks planned from the beginning. The fabrics aren't out dated they are classic. Can you tell I love what you did?

I don't see 'dated' at all. I see a lovely quilt that will be much loved. Great job and now your ugly duckling blocks have turned into a beautiful swan quilt!
