It's missing the throat plate and I see rust on the handwheel. I'd pass on it for the price.

I'd also pass on the machine - but the cabinet is a Queen Anne which is kind of rare. The cabinet is normally burled walnut.

From the angles of the pictures, I don't see a motor shadow, either.

It has a potted motor and it looks like something is missing on the pillar near the handwheel, I think its maybe a Singer 101.

The motor on this would be underneath. If the needle goes up & down smoothly, it would be worth it. Also, does it have a foot pedal or knee? Pedals can be expensive. I just bought an old Janome and they want $85.00 for the foot.

this link will take you to photos that show a potted motor. Basically, there is no belt, the machine is gear driven via the motor enclosed in the "pot" on the back of the machine.
