Default A Special Gift for my Sister! A Pink one!

Here is a machine that i found at a thrift store... A vintage 1959 Brother ! She came with the cabinet, all her attachments including the warranty card from the sewing center! So I know she is a local from the Center square in Easton, Pa... she was very dirty and locked up. With the help from my son, we got her cleaned up and now she is sewing! I down loaded the manual.. When my sister stopped over she spotted it in an instant! With my sister being all about "Pink" and a two time warrior of breast cancer I decided that my sister Darlene would be the best mommy for her. So I just got her loaded in my SUV... and we will be going to visit her this weekend.... I decided that her name was Lillian and now it fits perfect... I think that was my Grandmother "Lillian" that was looking over my sister in her times of trouble... Now I must fill the drawers with pink fat quarters!

How nice of you to give "Lillian" to your sister. It seems like a perfect fit. Even better is she'll sew on it and remember you, her nephew and her grandma! I hope you'll write Lillian's story down for your sister.

What a good sister you are! My mother and sister both had breast cancer. Pink fat quarters --- that is a nice touch.
