Talking 201 Comes Through

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...8214676&type=1 My Barracuda walking foot is on the blink (2nd time). So I used my 201 for this boat cover repair. It was already set up. I would normally use the 15-91 as backup for the Barracuda. The 201 performed marvelously. I used v-69 thread in a ball point 16 needle. The versatility of the 201 amazes me. Going through webbing and a couple layers of Sunbrella doesn't even slow it down. I know, others will say it wasn't made for this and I don't normally use it for this. I love my 201.

Edit-I see the link works only if one has a FaceBook account. Sorry!

Ron, Wow you did a great job on that repair! It always feels good to make things useful again, isn't it?

Yes, firstly, making the machines again useful. Secondly, repairing fabrici is a good excuse to use the machines.😁

My DH upholstered the seats in a 74 Nova, front and back with an older White. Not a problem. No groaning and moaning. sadly it got set out on the curb. I try not to reflect on it much.

Excellent! I'm not a Singer gal but I do love Elizabeth, my 201-2.
