Helping a friend find a part she needs for her Singer Merritt 2404 (having a hard time finding a bulb) and I came across this for all Singer parts.

What kind of bulb does it use? It shouldn't be so hard to find I wouldn't think.

She needs a narrow bulb the glass the same size as the metal part. The only ones found so far are to wide of a glass and she can't close the the front. She had gone to the Local Sewing Guys and only the wides one they keep telling her it's the one she needs for her machine. Not!!! lol

Oh my, thanks for that link. It's another one I need to save for those "just in case" times when I need to find a part/piece.
