Another Machine Followed Me Home!
I know nothing about this machine other than it's a New Home and it looks like it was made between 1883 and 1885 according to the numbers online. The machine has been well-used and has lost all of its decals. The cabinet has also seen better days - 1 drawer pull is missing and some of the trim on the coffin top is missing. The machine was a little stiff at first but I oiled it up and it seems to work fine - I haven't put a belt on it yet. It has one shuttle and a couple of bobbins with it. There is an extra shuttle but it is so rusted that it's not usable. This is definitely not a show model but the guy who had it was ready to get rid of it and if I hadn't taken it, he was going to let a guy have it that wanted to turn it into a coffee table - at least that's what he said - may have been handing me a line. It was for sale for over a month so maybe not a line....who knows!! Anyway, does anyone have any information about this one and/or have a source for shuttles and bobbins? I've searched unsuccessfully online to find anything like it. The photos are a little big....sorry!! Thanks!!

Love her!!! So pretty, you will have so much fun using her. This guy sells parts and he is nice, knows a lot about the old machines. http://sewitsold.com/

The cabinet may be a bit rough but it's still a lovely style. And is that an extension I see hanging down on the left side? I've never seen a treadle cabinet with an extension. Glad you rescued it from possibly becoming a coffee table.
