I was so hoping I would be able to attend the PNW today. But due to my husbands deteriorating health condition he cannot be left alone. Please everyone, take a lot of pictures so I can attend vicariously.

I just got home a few minutes ago. Thank You! to everyone who came. I know I had a great time. Olivia took a few pictures that I'll get posted as soon as I find the cord for the computer.
A couple families saw what we were doing and stopped in. Roserips' wallet kits and hand crank machines were a big hit with the kids. I think for our next gathering I'll make some signs and see if we can post something on the library's bulletin board. I had a lot of fun working with the kids and it's something I want to keep doing.
Sabine: Thank You to you and Larry very much for coming down. It's always good to be able to put names and faces together. Thanks for bringing your machines too. That Anker is a truly beautiful machine. It was nice to see your 128 and White as well. I hope we see you both again at our next get together.

It was a fabulous day, seeing all of you again and meeting the first time attendees was a great treat for me. Watching the kids have so much fun while they were learning to sew on the handcranks was wonderful. I believe the one family that stayed all afternoon has become a family of sewists.
