I will...I am going to Home Depot to pick up some emery cloth to clean up some of the rough spots underneath the bobbin casing . I can see it from under the machine. I hope I don't break anything. Oh well. Off to the store. Anne

Great find! You did a nice job on cleaning it up. I just recently heard about using the machine oil for cleaning and tried it out on my treadle machine. It made quite a difference.

What a great find. Sorry to burst your bubble but was there a cord with the machine?????? I was at a thrift store and there was a machine for $0.99 bu8t there were no cords. I have since checked around and found that most places that repair machines have cords for sale. Now I am all set!!!
