Default Butterfly?

Howdy y'all. ☺

I will be going tomorrow to check out a hand crank machine I found on craigslist! Here is the link. Opinions please? ☺

I think it is a modern day made machine.

There is a 2011 thread about the Butterfly machine here - http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...ne-t56341.html
Something that caught my eye was on the instruction manual has JA-1-1 on it which might be earlier than the one on the above thread.
AND it is a hand crank. I haven't used my 15-clone hand crank much, but it is fun. I'd like to find a 3/4 sized hand crank.

Looks like the Chinese aftermarket hand crank. I have one too and while it does have some nice looking decals, it also has some Chinese letters and says something like "made in china" right at the top.

It does look like a pretty decent machine, however they don't stack up well to original Singer 15's

The machine says "Made in The Peoples Republic of China" on the top. The decals, while lovely, are in your face.

It looks like the one I saw on the net, was a copy of a Singer and made in modern times. It was made in India.

I'm still hoping to find one of those. Modern or no.
