My old kenmore had a box of two layers of cams. The crank shaft of that sewing machine broke in 2 pieces and I tossed the machine. They are reddish brown in color and loaded on the top of the machine. Somewhere in this house I still have that box of cams. I hardly discard anything sewing related unless it is really dead. Now I will have to look for them most likely moved to a box on top of a cupboard where other olders part get delegated to. Will have to look. They are from the late 1960's.

The link works, but the listing is only for Singer machines. My Coronado is a badged machine and I don't know the original maker for the body. Thanks for your help.

I think you are looking at the other link, rather than the cams for the Coronado. They do look like those that will fit the Dressmaker. Most of the Dressmaker cams that I have seen are usually green and not creamy white. Most cams do not have a maker name as they would fit many different "badge" names.
I'm not sure if this will work.

I'm not sure if these are the exact cams that go with this machine, but they work, so I won't complain 😉
When I was searching for a set (Ebay) I just looked for ones that had a 1/2" hole and that smaller peg hole. I also followed my machine travel on the cam follower arm and I think the max distance it could move was 1" from the center peg, so I got my seller to measure the widest part of the cam from the center hole. (Hope that makes sense)

I also read on a different thread on Quilting board here, that our Coranado machines were made by Brother and badged for Maclod's department stores.

Glad I could help.

Good job on getting cams that work. I found some at a thrift store and they fit three different machines (I did break one trying it on on one of the machines. I found out later that particular cam was known to be different diameter and needed to be reamed out.)

I still need to try some cams that I got for my Atlas.

I have a 1970 Singer that uses cams and it's been in almost daily use for decades making school clothes for my 4 kids, clothes for me and my husband and polyester (ugh) suits for a neighbor, curtains, drapes. wedding dresses and on and on.

Around the same time I (Santa) bought a robot for Christmas for my kids that used cams to program his movements and walking patterns.He was wonderful fun. I wish we still had him.
