Default Can anyone help me?

Went to NJ and brought home my mom's Singer treadle machine that had been in a fire
when her home burned in 2003 and it has been sitting in a garage since.
Very rusty, but cleaning up nicely until we broke the bobbin case/shuttle. It is cast so can't
weld or fix it. Model G8 299765. Know where we can get another. Everything else is looking good!!!
Thanks hopeful someone can help. Love this site. Jim are you there??

You need to give us a picture. The serial number is not really adequate to identify absolutely the machine. Also a picture of the broken piece so that we can give you the best alternatives.

If there's no space in that number, your machine is one of 40,000 Singer 127s allotted on August 5, 1920. I have no idea how to get old parts.

Who's Jim? You should PM specific people you're looking for.

Check with Sew-Classic. She has lots of old parts. Good luck and let us know when you find it!
